Pleasant village hotel with excellent restaurant. We had an exquisite meal for dinner. Breakfast was very good. Request a room with a view of the chateau. Staff was helpful and even gave us a ride down to the train station.

Their generosity in meeting us from the station; and superb breakfasts.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The value for money was great, with a room that had a unique view of the castle. The location was perfect, just at the entrance of the village, and the staff treated us very well.
The morning meal could have been better with more variety.

We had a blast exploring the area on our bikes, cycling through the picturesque countryside and discovering hidden trails. The hotel was super chilled and had bike hire available, which made it super convenient for us. Plus, the views of the mountains and valley from our room were insane! Totally worth the trip.
The only thing we wished for was a cool hangout spot in the hotel where we could have some late-night fun with our squad. It would have been awesome to have a lounge area or a game room where we could chill and have a good time after a day of cycling and hiking.

Great location, spacious room and bathroom, good shower, helpful elevator, delicious breakfast, charming square.
Was all great.

Very comfortable, with superb restaurant in spectacular area.
There was a standard french hotel breakfast trolley which was unaccountably out of bounds, though we paid the full advertised price of €9.80.There were also some problems relating to two couples, in separate accommodation, being offered separate accounts rather than the one account for everything

Very nice owner, The rooms are sweet and the food is excellent but pricey. We had a view of the valley which was spectacular. There is an elevator and a delightful lobby where you can read and have a drink. Bathroom was modern and clean. Breakfast was very nice. Great location at top of village and there was free parking..
Only 4 channels on TV and no working wi fi in rooms. That was a disappointment for us since it was advertised as having wi fi in all rooms. Wait staff for dinner was young and fairly inexperienced compared to the food which was outstanding but pricey. There is another restaurant down the street with reasonable prices and good food. We did a night at each and they were bioth great in different ways.

Great location with amazing views. Positioned at the entrance of the ancient town allowed us an easy walk to all the sites we wanted to visit. We enjoyed views of the beautiful valley from our room. The staff was efficient and friendly. We didn't get to eat at the hotel, but the atmosphere looked lively and there was always a buzz of people around.
Our room was not up to scratch and lacked basic comforts. The bathroom floor was slippery and dangerous, and there was no coffee pot or other amenities.

our stay at l'oustal del barry in najac was even better than before. the room with a balcony had breathtaking views of the town square and castle. the restaurant was outstanding, both for dinner and breakfast, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
Bed too low to the ground.

This is the only hotel in the spectacular hilltop village of Najac. Good value on all counts, very good "acceuil", the restaurant is above average.
Service in the restaurant was not as cheerful as it might have been - but it was the hootest night of the summer.

My stay was a delight, with beautiful grounds and a kitchen garden that made me feel like a true aristocrat. The food was scrumptious and paired perfectly with the fine wines. Loved the cultural highlights nearby.
Oh, how I longed for a giant room to stretch out in and a throne-like chair to plop myself down on. But a small room and no comfy seat will do, I suppose.
